Basically, my sister and I were laughing over how crazy Kimimaro is in that scene where he's threatening this poor little flower with violence because its ignoring him, and my sister decided it would be hilarious if the flower was actually Zetsu in disguise. (Although, really, I think my sister is under the impression that ANY scene is improved at least a hundred-fold by the inclusion of Zetsu.)
Then she basically harassed me until I agreed to draw such a scene for her. This is the result.
It seems to me that the colouring looks a bit more involved than either the linework or the punchline deserve, but actually it was really simple. All the lines pretty much connected to make solid shapes in this picture, so I was able to use the paintbucket tool to colour without any difficulty, thus speeding things up enormously.
Actually, I'm starting to think so too. I tried really hard to think of a scene that would be less awesome if it included a freaky canibalistic plant ninja with multiple personalities... but nothing occured to me. He should really have his own spin-off show or something.
(Also, I think it's the flower on his head that really makes it for me. This probably should have gone uncoloured and in scraps... but head-flower, it just would not be denied.)

Oh my God!! I've sort of had that same idea! I just never did anything about it....but....ZetsuKimi would so be the pairing/friendship of a lifetime! Think of how happy Kimimaro would be when the plant answers! Kimimaro is crazier than Zetsu, anyways. The memory of that scene is making me laugh still...
